Party Time

We had Ava's second birthday party today! We only invited three families (and one didn't show) so we didn't have a huge crowd, but we did have everyone Ava enjoys playing with! She spent the first 30 minutes running around in circles yelling "Me Party, Me Party". She loved all of the Mickey stuff! She also loved the bouncy house (after being to scared to go near it for an hour)! I did a few boo-boos though! :( For one thing, I was in such a rush that the only shot that I took of the top of Ava's cake turned out blurry, I forgot the video camera, and I totally forgot to put the cake on the super cool Mickey mouse cake stand! OMG! But even with all my little blunders, Ava still had a great time!

We have been living here since May and Ava just realized that she can see herself while in the tub! LOL, too funny!

Happy Birthday

Ava turned 2 on Saturday! We are having her big birthday party on the 22nd but we had to do a little something on the real day! Here are a few shots of her opening gifts and eating cupcakes. I didn't get any good smashed-up, all over the face cake shots. She was very dainty this year and carefully removed all of the frosting with her fingers. :P

I am posting more collages since there are so many pics here. I just feel like they make the large amount more palatable!

Birthday Celebration

Ava's birthday was on the 15th although we aren't having her party until the 22nd. We decided to take her out to have a little birthday fun anyway! We headed out to Yabadoo an indoor play-place. We brought along our little point and shoot so there is a bit of extra noise in these photos, but I am just happy to be able to document her having a fun day!

(Yes, I did swear that my child would never, ever get within ten feet of one of those nasty ball pits. And yes that is Ava in a ball pit. Tisk-Tisk)

Oh, it looks like we have had a visitor!

Looks like we have been very good this year!

And now Ava and all her new treasures! She got so much stuff and opened everything so slowly (she wanted to stop and play with everything in between gifts) that it took us more then 6 hours to finish opening gifts!

And this is what it looked like in my living room after we finished! What a mess! But Ava had so much fun and she LOVED everything!
