The Exchange Place 9-24-11

The Exchange Place was lots of fun. It was like a mini trip back through time. Ava really enjoyed herself and I think everyone else did too!

We saw pumpkins

We dug up some carrots

We shelled some beans

We washed our hands with home-made lye soap

We saw lots of farm animals

We helped make apple butter

We used a rock to crush corn into corn meal

We made our own wreath out of twigs

We touched sheep wool

We pushed a wheel barrel

We ate lots of kettle corn

Teddy Bear Picnic 9-10-11

We went to the Teddy Bear Picnic on Sept. 9th. It wasn't exactly what I had expected, but Ava liked it and that's all that really matters!

Some of the Teddy Bear displays

Having lunch with Mimi

Making hand-print Santas

Blowing bubbles with Mommy, Mimi, and Gampa
